Parron Hall Construct - Production Designer

Parron Hall is currently seeking a Production Designer for our fast-paced DIRTT interior construction team in sunny San Diego or remote.

The ideal DIRTT design candidate has a working knowledge of design and construction in their blood, helping to take a clients’ needs and ideas from conception to realization. As a Production Designer, you will work alongside our DIRTT Champion (Accounts Manager) and Project Managers. Core responsibilities include creating 2D and 3D drawing packages using DIRTT’s proprietary ICE software and AutoCAD in order to bring the client’s vision to reality from schematic design to factory order entry. The perfect candidate is detail-oriented, hardworking, responsible, resourceful, and pro-active with a can-do attitude and problem solving nature. You should have the ability to multi-task and execute good judgement.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance to our prospective clients and the A&D community alongside our DIRTT Champion (Accounts Manager ) and Project Managers.
  • Use ICE and AutoCAD to develop 2D and 3D drawings and renderings.
  • Review and interpret architectural plans and construction documents for implementation into ICE and DIRTT scope of work.
  • Prepare all product documentation including shop drawings and construction documents.
  • Communicate positively and effectively with all team members and customers.
  • Develop and maintain detailed product knowledge of DIRTT solutions.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, develop and meet required schedules and deadlines.

    Required Education and Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Computer Aided Design & Drafting or a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, and/or Architecture.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience within the design and/or construction industry.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
  • Proficiency in ICE, Revit, SketchUp, and Bluebeam is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills.
